A sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence called A Plague Tale: Requiem will receive a demo this June and will be available online.

It was announced that A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, will receive a gameplay demo at the Tribeca Festival in June. However, game fans who didn’t get the chance to attend won’t have to miss out, as they’ll also be able to watch the demo online. The demo will only be available on PC and requires an Xbox controller according to comicbook.com. A ticket will be available on May 2nd, you need a ticket to see the demo. The demo will preview 40 minutes of the game.

The sequel to the rat-driven narrative title, was announced back in December, with a release date of 2022. The title looks set to continue the adventures of Amicia and her brother Hugo. In this part, Hugo’s powers will be reawakened, which causes the two brothers to flee once again. Hearing about a prophesied island could be the answer to saving Hugo.

If the sequel is anything like the first title, we’re in a rat pile, which you can control to do your bidding. The Steam page showcases a variety of tools, invisibility, stunning visuals, and the chance to unleash a swarm of rats.

According to the official Summer Game Fest twitter account, A Plague Tale: Requiem will join a list of games including Cuphead: Delicious Last Course, American Arcadia, As Dusk Falls, Immortality, Oxenfree II, The Cub, Thirsty Suits and Venba. They will also be introduced on June 10 as part of the Summer Game Festival.

A Plague Tale: Requiem scheduled for release in 2022 for PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch (via cloud streaming) and Xbox Series X | S. It will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
